General description of background: I am a mercenary. I have Nordic and Scottish blood. I also have some elf blood in me which gives me magic. I was raised by my father after my elf mother die in a raid by the Laurasians. He too was a mercenary and I learned by fight by his side. After I was old enough my father in the middle of the night he left. I was left to fend for myself. on my travels I learned the secret of metalcraft. I did love once but that person was really trying to kill me. I now trust no one even more then before. I was then hired by the Gondwana army to fight in a war. In that war and was wounded and put me out of service. the war was the battle between Gondwana and Laurasia called Eximius Continens Bellum. The war lasted for a century in the year 200,000,000 A.D.. The opposing force had won. When it was over and I was healed I went in search for more war. I traveled from tavern to tavern for more work. I came to the land of Kiwikie for a good fight and some money and find the person who hurt my feelings. :

Personal goal: My goal is never to be on the losing side of a war unless they pay me well. Also to find the person who had betrayed me and rip his throat out and then find someone else.

A better start from the previous story. Though it'd be much appreciated if you keep the subheadings of each section. Read the other applications to see the formatting and how they did it.
Can you elaborate your character's history, maybe what he did before the war? And what is this war that went on for a century?

Your character sounds like a, excuse my french, but a mindless "Rape, Pillage, and Murder for shits and giggles" character. Being a mercenary is all fine and dandy, but there comes a point when even a mercenary experiences emotion and feelings.
Also, a side note: your character is over 1000 years old. Are they a regular human or are they more? Because if they are simply human, that's a bit extreme.

I find that revenge stories have little point when you start playing. I would personally say you could drop the "find the person who had betrayed me and rip his throat out" part, because you never will find that person because that person didn't actually exist. It will feel a bit pointless.
