Today I bought my flying license.
I was very very excited to test it out and to build a beautiful ship.
That was what I had for mind but as soon as I built one it was soooo sooooooooo slow
Maybe it was of the size so I made it as small as possible with every detail left out but still it was SLOOOOW.
So I went to the forums to look up if it could go faster and yes there was: an Engine.
I went back to my very small ship and placed an engine and guess what it was 2x as fast....
Whow i was amazed... NOT it was still to SLOW
Perhaps i have to place 8 more engines on it and that was what I did
but that didn't made any differnce, unfortunatley D:
So now I am here with a very slow ship and that's why i'm asking the admins:
Is there a possibilty that you could make kiwiships faster?
Maybe wenn you ad more engines it will go faster or you could upgrade your engine or something.
I will be like 10 times faster by foot then with my ship and that is really lame!
I hope they will do something about it or someone could tell me a way to make my ship faster but for now my ship will have a nice spot next to the garbage.

The point of kiwiships is to travel with items and such. hot airballoons in real life aren't all that fast, but it's been talked about before and it just isn't possible with the way minecraft works

They put an incredible strain on the server and will do even more if ther're made faster. This is also the reason why ther're so expensive.
This has been discussed a lot of times already and they won't get any faster anytime soon I'm afraid.

Aha you have to use them as hot air balloons that explains a lot but still why are they called kiwiships then and why wouldn't it work with the way minecraft works? I don't see any downpoints about making kiwihot air balloons faster
and why should you transport items with hot air balloons rather then by foot?
Totally not hating but i'm very curious

I agree with ya bro, they really shouldn't exist. It's a total waste of money, and it's already a waste of RAM. Making them any faster would crash the server.

They are also for RP purposes, and great for war(placing it high up and just bombing)

Yotta is thinking about upgrading the server soon. Maybe the increased performance should be put towards making Kiwiships faster instead of more player slots because we all know that more player slots are not needed. This would be a much more worthwhile investment.

it's already been stated that the upgrade won't make a difference.
best solution is to simply own kiwiships and never use them.
