Nation of Eil introducting:
The X400 Railway

In an effort to bring the distant towns of all nations in Kiwike together, a railway line is being built on the X-axis. It will be a dual directional powered railsystem with stations by every major city in the vecinity of the X400.

To help building, just follow these guidelines:
  • 3 blocks wide, 3 blocks high
  • 2 Rails on each side of x-400
  • 1 Powered Rail per 38 blocks
  • 1 Detector Rail before each Powered Rail

The architechture of the X400 Stations is up to each city, as long as it is easy for a traveller to continue his journey.

Donations (iron, gold) and help is welcome! I have a postbox by the Inn!

((Ii believe android said these are not aloud.))

RE: X400 - torbunt - 07-20-2012

So we are forever doomed to walk the wilderness...?

RE: X400 - Smythie - 07-20-2012

((Why are these not allowed? It's Age 2 we should be able to use rails and redstone

RE: X400 - Cell - 07-20-2012

((Rails are OK, just not underground like 2.0. I think....))

RE: X400 - asdfasdflkjty911 - 07-20-2012

((He DID say that, then after we made one going to our cities a few months ago, he said its fine.
I like this idea though, can other towns from much further build their own line to come intercept one of these lines?

RE: X400 - Android - 07-20-2012

(( The main reason I was against it earlier was because of the giant mess they turned out to be in 2.0. They were, simply put, extremely unattractive and utterly useless. In all the time they existed, I didn't see enough people use them to make them worth it.

That said, I like the idea of short distance rails, much like the one interconnecting the United Republic. Much easier to maintain, and much more worth it. I suppose it's the whole 'international' part of it.

Finally, above the ground rails are really cool and should be utilized. Aktrjack at one point made an 'origin' rail though I'm not sure if he ever finished it.

RE: X400 - asdfasdflkjty911 - 07-20-2012

((There's a line from the inn to the origin station, from there people could build their own lines to it. He also had a 1000 block rail from Hyperion to it, but it never got finished, and he took the rails to use elsewhere. But overall, above ground rails do look much nicer.

RE: X400 - sethd13 - 07-20-2012

(( Lets just finish cells nether rail :/

RE: X400 - Cell - 07-20-2012

((I quit the Nether hub until something /is/ done about the mass of buildings at the Inn. If/when that happens I'll have to move the portal.))
