Should it be allowed? It seems to be a concern among many players. Please voice your opinion.

If the town that's claiming is the one which found the portal, I believe it should be allowed..

No.
You could easily block off the End Portal room and that means only 1, or maybe a few groups/towns depending on how many strongholds there are, could enter the End, which seems unfair. We don't block everybody from entering the Nether, so why should we do it with the End?

I don't think towns should be allowed near the end portal in a certain radius. They could easily still block it off with a circle, which means should we take another measure and move the portal somewhere near the spawn/etc?
And @DJ. You only say that because its your town.

I don't like the privatization of such things. Offers a monopoly on enderstone, the Enderdragon, and a massive supply of enderpearls.
[sidenote] I think for the sake of easily overpowering any fort, one shouldn't be allowed to farm in the End at all.

I agree with Crash that there should be no farming in The End and instead support the creation of something similar to 'stronghold instances' as mentioned in the other thread so a much larger portion of the players can use it. It's clear that you, Dj and co. are the ones wishing to claim it and I am extremely glad that you came to the forums before going ahead with it.

I think that the claiming of an end portal should not be allowed. However the creation of towns in the nether and end should be made possible. As far as claiming, I think the nether and end should be the same as the overworld. However, I`m not yet sure how town claiming between dimensions should work.
