Hey there - devilquak - 12-12-2012 Hello everybody, I'm devilquak, as you can probably see. I'm an IRL friend of your lovely mod geckosquid, went to school with him for 9 years, and I might love Minecraft even more than he does, though I'm sure he'll try to convince you otherwise. I've been playing Minecraft for about two and a half years now, joining my first server about a year and a half ago, and playing there for 9+ months, working my way from idiotic random player to the highest-ranked Admin on the server. I even learned Java to help make some plugins for the server, which was fun for a while. But after all that went down the drain due to idiotic management and staff abuse (not by me, a few of the mods scared away the player base), I decided to drop the game for a while and focus on not failing school. Anyways, I'm back in the game now, and I need a new server, not one where I feel like a shrimp in a sea of random players and unstable worlds. I really miss multiplayer and Bukkit, and Kiwike looks pretty fun: plus, one of my oldest friends is knee-deep in Kiwikiness. Most likely none of you have met me yet besides him, as I haven't been on your server much due to my ever-important and annoying midterm exams, but I hope to have lots of fun here. See you around. Also, infinite points for forum memes ![]() P.S: Wow, I almost forgot to mention I ran my own server for 5 or 6 months after I left my original one. It was mildly successful, at first only meant for my friends and I to play on occasionally. After a while though, it got too big, and I had to shut it down because it was taking all of my time. Moral of the story, I know what server owners go through, how much crap they have to deal with all the time, how much work they have to put in their servers, ect, so I have nothing but respect towards most of them, especially yottabyte and his work on Kiwike. Job well done. RE: Hey there - geckosquid - 12-12-2012 Good to have you, man. For the record, this gentleman is helping us out with plugin coding for the RP server, so give him the warmest of welcomes.
