SETHD13'S NEW COMPUTER COMMISION - sethd13 - 05-13-2013 Hell there kiwike! My father, may he live in peace. Has granted me the sum of 1000 USD to build my computer. All of you tech savvy swedes and everyone else should submit a build for under 1000 USD to me on this thread. I want to be able to run(on max graphics) -Arma2 -Arma3 -Skyrim -minecraft(played on tiny for all of kiwike) The winner will be granted satisfaction and 50 suba points I have in my wallet. ![]() RE: SETHD13'S NEW COMPUTER COMMISION - geckosquid - 05-13-2013 Don't think you're going to get max graphics on Arma 3 and Skyrim out of $1000. Definitely not Arma 3. RE: SETHD13'S NEW COMPUTER COMMISION - bvcxzmn - 05-13-2013 I bet a 660 could max out Skyrim, but there's no way you're going to be able to max out arma2 or 3 with that budget. EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti FTW Signature2 2GB Also, this whole build should become cheaper after May 23 because that's when Nvidia is going to reveal their 700 series GPUs, so I would recommend waiting until then to buy everything. The GTX 660 can do 60+ fps in most games, especially at lower resolutions like 1920x1080. RE: SETHD13'S NEW COMPUTER COMMISION - geckosquid - 05-14-2013 I have used Windows 8 for months on two computers, one of them a heavy-duty gaming computer, and I have only had better performance, with no incompatibility problems. Most people who badmouth it haven't actually used the OS for enough time to realize that the only difference is that 8 has a more comprehensive start menu. RE: SETHD13'S NEW COMPUTER COMMISION - bvcxzmn - 05-14-2013 Fein den! Be that way >.> XD |
