We're all aware that the server is lagging beyond belief. My question is: why is the server lagging?

We don't know the answer yet! Will probably take the server down tomorrow and do some Bukkit debugging to attempt to locate the problem.

Maybe try taking the server down and starting it back up now?
The chat lag was 2 minutes before, now it's over 20.
