What will happen to Kiwike
The server stays on the old version until Bukkit and plugins have been updated in normal order. This can take anywhere between 3 hours and several days. If you wish to keep playing on Kiwike with the old version make sure you choose not to update!

But I want to try out the new features
No problem! Just make sure you backup minecraft.jar

  1. Open up the normal Minecraft launcher, where you log in and see the news.

  2. Click on "options"

  3. Click on the "Game location on disk" link.

  4. Navigate to the "bin" folder.

  5. In this folder, rename minecraft.jar to whatever. For example "minecraft_backup.jar"

  6. Start Minecraft and download the new update

  7. When you want to play on Kiwike again, go into the same folder and remove minecraft.jar and rename the backup you have back to minecraft.jar

  8. Have fun playing on the old version

You should be on the new launcher so simply log in and press update now rather than not now.

You're sure you haven't already updated? That's odd, hasn't happened to me.

I upgraded then wated to play the server so i downgraded nd now it wont let me reupgrade.

If you are using the latest launcher you can click "Options" where you log in and click "Force update" to update.

achievments not working for me on test server but they are on single player.
