I'm looking for something easy to use so I can paste a trollface on an AT-AT walker. Any thoughts?

If you want to be legit, gimp is what you want. Photoshop is so much better though. And you don't have to pay for it * wink* *nudge*
Seriously I think they have a 30 day free trial.

Photoshop!, Err, if you know what your doing Smiley. But Gimp is the best for free.
