Proper Formatting

Headings

Headings, which are made like this- ==article title==- keep your information organized and easy to read. You can make lower-level headings by adding equal signs, like ===article title=== or ====article title====.

References

Referring to other resources can add validity to your article, along with helping people with further resources. Articles are referenced like this: <ref>Kiwike.se</ref>

Links

Linking can help bring people to other, relevant resources. Links within the wiki or to other wikis are made like this: [[Article title]], and outside links are referenced like this: [http://Kiwike.se kiwike]

Tables

Making a table on a wiki is quite difficult, and would take far too long to explain here. If you still want to make one, our friends over at Wikipedia have a great deal of resources explaining this, including:

Writing an Article

What to Put in

  • Dates that the event/place was started/founded and when it ended (if it did)
  • Who was involved
  • Where it is/was
  • References
  • Links to other articles (that apply to the topic)
  • Media

What not to Write

  • Biased opinions
  • Inflammatory content
  • Links to unrelated content
