Mebe, I recommend you try all of our suggestions and tell us if any of them make a difference. That will narrow the solutions down, then we can troubleshoot from there.

Also, I suggest you make a account and post this sort of thread on a PC forum, there would be much more experienced people with these sorts of problems then there are here.

And yeah, the SLI bridge may indeed be faulty.

Just ordered an Intel i7 2700k Sandy Bridge processor and an Intel Z68 motherboard.
I don't think I'll be having performance issues anymore.

Why you no Z77. And should have got 2600k if any sandybridge, its the exact same as 2700k but factory clocked slightly lower and cheaper. Other than that, sounds good, unless its actually the SLi bridge, and in that case, good job on wasting money
