Quote:2) Griefing
Generally, “griefing” is anything you do that interrupts another player’s game experience. It can be as simple as ruining an RP experience or to destroying another player’s building for no valid reason. The extent of claimed griefing will be up for interpretation by the staff members.
this is contradictory, if creator was to replace the blocks he had broken, it would have ruined the RP experience for him. If he's going to be a looting and plundering pirate, you wouldn't exactly make sure everything was clean and spotless before you left...

I'm pretty sure having to replace 1 or 2 fences would completely ruin someone's rp experience, besides, if you put the fences back you have one extra spot of free inventory so you can raid even more.

I'm not saying it would COMPLETELY ruin someone's experience. I'm just saying that they shouldn't need to be worried about getting banned about something minor like taking 2 fences.

You want a fully functioning RP experience but you ban people who do just that. you should be able to do what you like ,in a RP sense, without the fear of getting banned. Creator's character was a pirate and he was raiding, He shouldn't have to stop and think, well i should probably not go in there because i might get banned :/. He was acting the way his character would have acted, a minor 'grief' like that should not have been a bannable offence. The fact is that if this were a RP experience, you would realise that he was raiding and he broke into the farm to pillage, exactly what pirates do. your giving contradictory rules. even in 2.0 people would get banned for minor offences. Can you please reconsider your rules and define in more detail what each rule is. Obviously people aren't allowed to do certain things, regardless of their RP.
What would be the point of the rules if I could just go, "Oh but I'm a pirate, therefore I get to do whatever the #$%^ I want."
Realistic perhaps, but almost undoubtedly not very fun for everyone the pirate goes after who isn't playing a character that's got an RP pass to just do general #$%^-all behavior.
As I recall, in K2 the general rule was that you replace what you destroy when you're stealing things, unless you're at war, then I believe you were allowed to destroy structures and the like.

If this is grief, then I have a lot of reporting to do. Like for that block placed to leave my farm instead of using the door 3 meters away. Or maybe the blocks over some chests that were removed. We've had many similar scenarios considered not-grief, but here it's somehow different
RE: The definition of griefing - Cell - 04-10-2012
It's like an unspoken agreement between all of us.
If I went into my base, and found that someone had dug a hole or two into my floor made out of cobblestone looking for a chest, I would not report them for grief. Although it is considered it, I have more than enough cobblestone to fill up a 1x2 hole.
Some people think like this, some do not.

Im not saying that they would be able to burn down building and the likes but a small destruction like this should hardly be Solved with a ban. How is this ruining someone's experience. The breaking of 2 fences is hardly game breaking. And RP is supposed to be true to life. If someone broke into your farm and killed your livestock for meat, you wouldn't expect them to replace everything and tidy up afterwards. That would have been the job of the owner. Im not speaking on the behalf of the Creator anymore. We seriously need to change these rules, their getting so strict it's ridiculous.

I thought a block in the floor of my house was a greif, so I reported it and found out I broke it...

I got in trouble

I don't think the bans are entirely appropriate either, but I have very little experience with Kiwike players being altruistic unless they have to be. So until the Knights of Dusk start laying down the law (which will likely lead to an all-out war at some point), or we get some kind of in-game law enforcement, I'm not going to protest the bans.
