RE: Three year anniversary! - yottabyte - 12-12-2013 The current version of Territories doesn't have Nations. I didn't feel like they are necessary with a smaller scale server. They can be envisioned through RP and in other wording, but no bond exists technically. So if I try to sum it up - new world with size 2000x2000 - territories - new tight staff - basic lore for RP What about other things like trading and economy stuff? Something like iconomy (or whatever is the preferred plugin) combined with chestshops. RE: Three year anniversary! - Cerce - 12-12-2013 Eh. Just as long as the economy isn't liable for failure. We had that problem in the past, with people only buying things like lockpics and land. I'm not too huge on specifics. Another thing people were interested in on Skype were Kiwiships, but that's more of a 'hey, that'd be cool' rather than a 'we need this in the new server'. Other than that, yeah, that is exactly what we're looking for, Yotta, from what I can tell. Someone on Skype wanted the basic lore to be interconnected with former lore as well, but that can still be left pretty basic. I think I prefer chestshops more than the other option, but I'm still game for whatever. I know the midlands had a ship that caused two server crashes gettin it both up and down. I do love the kiwiships idea, and think it would be awesome for a smaller map like we have. I've been recently watching a mod pack with the Archimedes mod in there, and I know one of the players is from Canada, so I believe it's over the Internet, and there doesn't seem to be much lag. The reason Kiwiships was so laggy is because it was doing much more complicated calculations that involved moving blocks around and making sure they didn't destroy other blocks, etc... Unfortunately, because Archimedes' Ships is a mod, I don't think it would work for the server because we want to keep it vanilla with server side plugins.
