These are called "Creepy Pastas". Creepy sub-viral internet stories, passed around, usually on places like /x/. If you google "creepy pasta" I'm sure you could find enough stories to make you never able to sleep again. When I get home I can post a youtube channel where someone has done great readings of them with background videos and none of that jump-out-and-startle-you bullshit.

I also just wanted to say a few things reguarding the original post:
1 The part of Fortress was laughably poorly acted.
2 There is no way someone smart enough to figure out the puzzles given would be dumb enough to post videos about where the money is before they had retrieved it.
3 I also find it hard to believe they would ignore the obvious color clue.
4 The character of Fortress seems far too narcissistic to not show his face on camera.

It's a neat and well thought out video, but has some flaws in its execution.
