Mass Effect Series (PLUS: Port Saves from PC to XBox)
Well, guys, here's a bit of discussion for the Mass Effect series, be it the controversial ending of the latest installment, or the series as a whole. Feel free to chat it up; but the real reason I'm here is this:

http://legion.cal24.pl/me2/index.php/site/index

This site allows you to upload a save from a PC (or XBox) version of Mass Effect 2, and convert it to PC (Or XBox), as well as modify some plot choices. The reason I put this here is because, quite frankly, I hate EA and it's recent Origin crap, and I'd rather play it on the XBox than constantly be connected to the internet on the PC... so for those of you that still want to continue the series with minimal intrusion from EA, this is a life saver.

Thanks; and happy discussions. Try to keep flame wars over controversial issues regarding Mass Effect to a minimum.

I recently bought ME 1 and 2 to play before ME3 would release, I played ME1 for 2 days and kind of lost interest as I picked fallout back up...

Its got its own taste. Fallout seems to be more open ended, and has a lot more to do (in my opinion) - and also plays more like a first person shooter (granted, Mass Effect 2 & 3 are more FPS oriented). Mass Effect, on the other hand, tells a story, yet also leaves much open for the character to decide the outcomes. If you're talking about the old Fallout games; there's no contest. Fallout's better Laugh

Mass effect 1 is buggy as hell but I played all trough all of the games and they are amazing.
Until the ending of ME3...

A few interesting videos on the ending:

I would highly advise watching them in that order. Yes, they are lengthy; but this ending was made for the hardcore fans that spent weeks compiling this information.

I watched them a while ago. I would like it to be true, but watch this:

This still does not disprove the theory; all that was said by BioWare in that video was that more cinimatics would be added, and that no-one would starve, as well as the possibility that mass relays could be made.

The indoctrination theory is that Shepard still is on Earth in the rubble just being indoctrinated.
That means everything you do while the dream isn't real.
If the relays are really destroyed, then it wasn't a "dream"/ indoctrination.

RE: Mass Effect Series (PLUS: Port Saves from PC to XBox)
We could argue this till it comes out, you know Tongue

I'll just wait till the DLC comes out; then we'll know.

However; in the IT's defense, all they said was that 'Depending on your ending, rebuilding the mass relays is completely likely'. This could mean that one particular ending is in favor of the IT, while others take it more literally.
