Empty towns
i was thinking.. hyperion is already a ghost town would it be a possibility for a "bill" to be made that after 3 weeks of unexplained absence of a towns members the town could be wiped. all residents that havent "left" the town yet could be give a weeks notice through pm's signs w/e
i just dont want the world to be covered with failed projects like 2.0 really cool architecturally intersting thimgs could be saved but box slums with dormant "once every 3 month players"
need to be destroyed.

RE: Empty towns
I vote no, leave the towns or empty nations for people to claim.

Very few people want to claim other peoples' towns simply because they want to make their own things. People are very petty like that.
I vote yes, but only if a few conditions don't apply.
1. The town/city was abandoned for an RP reason.
2. The town/city was important to previous RP or backstory of characters.
3. The town/city is currently the home of at least 2 people who visit on a regular basis.
If none of those three apply, then thebprocess should begin.
Also there should be a "Notice Board" of sorts that alerts people to these planned clearings.

Pretty much agree with that.

RE: Empty towns
I think it would be a cool idea if the towns were left, but, at the beginning of age II, were partially destroyed and made to look like ancient ruins. It would definitely be a time consumer, but I think that would be something very cool for the later ages of kiwike and would add another awesome aspect to the server:
"You are out exploring the world; perhaps you are a nomad, or you are traveling somewhere. You see a city in the distance and you decide to go investigate. When you arrive at the city, you notice it that blocks are missing from the houses. You see vines hanging everywhere and trees grown through houses, a creeper crater here and there. You have found one of the ancient cities from the first age of kiwike, many years ago."
This would add a new feature to the server that I personally think would be really cool and would add a whole new aspect of realism.
