Late in the night, rapid, heavy footfalls are heard throughout the forest accompanied by the angry yells of tired men, awoken by the screaming of the watchmen. "The elf escaped!" they cried. The very elf that had been a slave, working the forge for years. The same elf that had been found wounded and unconscious under a tree. That elf had once been small and weak, but had become muscular and scared from slaving over the fires for longer than he cared to think about. After years of abuse and mindless labor, he killed his master in his sleep and ran. He ran through the night and next day. He ran until his legs couldn't carry him any farther. And when he finally was sure he had escaped, he followed the whispers of townsfolk he passed. He could hear them speaking of a place where elves were welcome. So he followed them until he came to Leafriver and met Koehvain and Taines. After being driven out by a cult of humans that hated elves, they wandered until they came to Eil.

((there should be a rule about character changes... Just sayin, I'd hate for a nation or town to be disolved because everyone got bored and just quit their character. Plus, some people dont go on the forums ever, and will never see this, have any way of knowing, and might think their new skin is still their old character, because I've seen people change their skin but still be the same person. Its quite confusing
