Android's Kiwike Values (AKV).
I am in the midst of making fixes to my policy for my city and need to know the exact values of items. I've heard talk about deflating the kiwi and also figured I could help. My inspiration cones from a website called bobbavalues. It is a fan made values site for the game Habbo Hotel. I am willing to take the time to make a set price value for every single minecraft item. I can make this a downloadable chart for all shopkeepers to have up while playing and what not. I figured I should ask here just because it would aquire approval from an admin or it would be pointless. What I'm thinking about so far is to make one Kiwike equal one cobble. This should deflate the kiwi an we would then start out with maybe 100 instead of 5000? The beauty of this is that it plays right along with the role playing. This way, shops can set their own prices based off of this list. If you were near a place with sand, it would be cheaper than a place without sand and vice versa with dirt. I think it is much better than some plug in that changes the values according to how many people are buying it because of that reason. In the case of my town, I'll have a government run market for anybody who needs it but eventually, people will make their own markets and might out compete the government one. This way people can also set their own revenue when it comes to their items as well. Like I said, this improves competition and role playing. Once the list is up, it would also be easier to decide how much plots are and how much the land is worth to make it a town. Of course I would rub it through the admins every time I make an update or something to see ifthey wanted any changes. This project is aimed to help deflate the kiwi and set a rate for the kiwi. This would also put much less pressure on the admins and mods because they won't have to mess with it so much. Finally, it will have then spend more time on the server getting things done faster. The way I see it, this is beneficial to the whole community. Please let me do this.

I doubt that a Kiwi deflation would happen before the map restart and all. If you do this you will have to change it once the upcoming project is done.
Otherwise, I'm all for it. Right now the currency is pretty strange when sometimes 3 diamonds can go for 500 kiwi and the other day 1 diamond for 3000.

Exactly, people don't know the values of things. I will be able to finish it before the map change and I'll hand it to you if you want to make any last minute changes.

Another aspect of roleplaying is jobs, now is it like: You want a job? Mine that for me and you get that. But a friend of mine is trying to make a plug-in like this: You want a job? You want to be soldier? Ok, i'm the officer. I shall add you. /new employee douwe1997 pay 100 kiwi 1 day. If it is like this you have to add it and it will automaticly give 100 kiwi every day. That would be really cool, not? The rest of the system is just gonna be like iConomy. But it will be waiting. Cuz i don't have experience with his plug-ins and i don't know he's good.

Sounds fine and dandy but how is the pay decided? For every hour they work collectively? And I'm assuming it would come out of the employer's pocket. It sounds cool but in reality is very difficult.

Yeah, before awsering your questions, first a thing i forgot: With auctions it's gonna add about 20 secs every time there's a new bid. And if you add a new employee you have to put something like 1 day, 20 kiwi. And the employee will be add 20 kiwi every 24 hours. And the officer get's the money from the mayor and he's getting the taxes.

Oh yeah, i send him a e-mail it would be nicer to have it like this: /new employee soldier douwe1997 1 day 20 kiwi. So he gets 20 kiwi every 24 hours. And also automaticly add soldier for his name That would be real cool But i have no reaction yet

The gist of it sounds cool but there are still a bunch of problems. I'll list them when I get some time.
