Day 4-

My condition is becoming steadily worse. The back of my head hurts like hell, even though the X has mostly scabbed over. Earlier today, the door to my tomb opened, and I was lead deeper into the fortress; down a ladder and through a hall of solid netherrack. There was a room with some kind of altar, which they opened to reveal a completely bare stone room. They led me inside and as the walked away, I heard one say, "Do you think they'll find him?"
The other responded, "If they're collectively smart enough, then maybe. We need them to."
I lunged for the exit, but I heard a hiss. I started running, but it was too late.

Flying. Then hitting a freezing cold wall of pure stone. Everything was blurry for a while after that, but as I stumbled around, I felt for the entrance, and found only a mountain of gravel. It had collapsed, trapping me in here forever.

I sit here now devoid of any hope for escape. I am trapped in the underbelly of a colossal fortress in the middle of nowhere. Nobody will find me. I will die here.

Is that a barking noise?

Love,
Gecko

Day 5-

I'm getting out of here.

Yesterday, my old wolf whom I thought had been killed in the flooding of New Rapture came to me and dug a hole in the rubble small enough to pass a piece of parchment through. Fortunately, he knows the way to Cerce's castle by memory, so he will be able to lead the king here to me. I wonder how he found me...

Probably the smell of my blood.

Well, my loyal companion seems to be getting restless. I write this final journal entry as a testament to the hardships I have endured here. Should I die before Cerce reaches me, this will stand as a reminder to all what X has done to me, and has the power to do to anyone it chooses.

But, maybe that's just it. They wanted me to realize that they have the power to do what they want. The X on the back of my neck is simply a reminder of that...

When I woke up this morning, I thought of a line that I couldn't get out of my head.

X marks the spot.

Cerce- Save me from this hell. I am becoming weaker by the minute.

I wanted to die on a feather bed, with warmth in the air, a soft glowing of light, and friends surrounding me. Instead, I'll rot in this cold, musty cell, alone and hungry. But one of the X leaders said that they were counting on my being rescued, so I'd assume that I am close to some kind of civilization.

My wolf didn't ever get lost! They took it so that it could come here to me now! How long have they been planning this for...

Well, this is where I conclude this particular journal. I have taken one thing out of these five days...

X has a plan for all of us.

Love,
Gecko
