*Envelope nailed to the wall of the Mavenholm tavern*

On the simple envelope, "If you read this, please the envelope to the Road builders." is written.

Inside the envelope you find a letter, it says:

"Greetings. I am Coilic, a traveler. I have heard of your group, and I wish to join it.
All to long have simple men like me traveled the wild, fearing the creatures of the night, but with you, that can change. I wish to help you in your quest, and make this world easier to traverse.

If you wish to see me, I am staying Lakeville Cove for a while."

After a hard day of work andré steps out the inn of maven and sees the Envelope. He reads it through turns it around and scrabbles back in return.

"Meet me in the mavenholm inn any day from 5 till 12."

He then nails it back in place and smiles as he go’s back home. Happy to have a new candidate.

The following day, at exactly 5, a man in a white coat steps into the tavern, his skin seemingly slightly greenish in the dim light.
-"Ah, André."
As the man turns towards you, you can clearly see that that the green hue was not merely the light. Half his face looks like that of a zombie, and the rest of his skin seems to have a thin layer of mold and rot on it.
-"I'm Coilic, although many refer to me as zombie. I had a little accident in a lab you see. But don't worry, it's not contagious. Anyhow, let's get on to buisness."

André was standing behind the bar polishing some glasses, his right hand moving to his sword when he saw the newcomer.
Hesitant when hearing it speak he puts down the glass.

"You are the person of the Letter i presume? do forgive my temptation"

He removes his hand from his sword again.

"We are used to.. fight things that look like you, creatures we call the darkspawn. But Lets get to business.
Why would you want to join the road builders? Do you know what it means"

-"I don't know all the details yet, but as my note said, I want to make this world safer to traverse. I want people to be able to travel, without fearing those you call Darkspawn. I know what they can do, trust me on that."

Coilic walk up to the bar.

-"If it wasn't for science, I'd be dead now."

"The roadbuilders, believe that the darkspawn are the evil beings in this world sort to say. We build roads cause they keep travelers save from wandering the restless wilderness with those creatures, it’s our mission to find travel stones. magical stones that when places on the road, would keep them safe.."

He then continues

"I don’t like science much, but were sort of in need of new people. Being a roadbuilders, does not limit you in where you live your free to live in any town you want. before you become an official roadbuilders you have to do an imitation task, to show your willingly to put your back into it.."

Coilic nods in agreement.
-"Then we share the same opinions. They are indeed evil. As for the science part, I've relied on it for a long time. I spent my life on it, working at a research center. Well, at least until this happened."
He points to his face.
-"But that's not what we're here to talk about, is it? Now then, what is the task?"
