Royal Adventures!
Sitting alone at the inn, a man waits for his family. His cane is wretched and gnarled, and he is alone. He has been here for days. His family are, regrettably, dead. As I approached the blind man he does not falter or cringe at my presence. He does not even notice me. I flare a spark at him, almost as a nudge on the shoulder, and he leaps from his chair and surmounts a battle position. I was struck one, twice, thrice, four times with his cane, before he attempted to strike me down. I escaped, gravely injured.
That night, I cried, for the first time in years. Not from the agonizing pain, but the humiliation of being defeated by him. I stumbled upon a cave, where I slept. In the morning, my wounds were healed, as expected, but my pride was not. I returned, once again, to the inn, and attempted to speak to the man. He was still at the same table, almost waiting for me. I stuck a battle position and flared my breath at him. He dodged, as last time, but when he lunged with his cane, I was able to dodge. I began to feel my scales form while I fought him. Finally, after 2 hours of nonstop shadow-boxing, I managed to land a blow. My obsidian-black, scaly claw stabbed deep into an open chest cavity. The blood cooled my hand as it rushed past, and it seemed like it was now, or never. I grabbed his beating heart from within this almost lifeless shell, severed the ties, and pulled it from him. He fell to the ground, his crimson fluid staining the hardwood floor. I was at last the victor. My pride restored, I returned to my tower, claiming his cane as a trophy. My first trophy in this new planet, to be one of a future many.

RE: Royal Adventures!
((Thank you.))
((As for why? Role development on my part. As I kill, I age. I've had people already tell me they HATE my character and his current personality, why not age him?))

RE: Royal Adventures!
Episode 2: Peaceful Murder
Whilst shining with pride from my first killing, I went in search of a companion with which to share my bed home. I travelled far and wide in searching, from desert, to mountains, to caves, to villages and plains. Not one woman struck my eye as she did. I thought, "Maybe I need to age a bit..."
That night, whilst in the Fairy's Spring, I saw a willing victim: a young man about sixteen, carrying what seemed to be a new projectile weapon, about 8 feet long and with a blade, upon his back. I approached him, and asked his business, and the origin and nature of his weapon. He stated his name was Ulysses of Freud, who was travelling to find a worthy foe for battle.
"My weapon is of my own design," stated Ulysses, "part gun, part sabre. I call it the Equalizer."
At this, I was sure he was the foe for me, so I stated that I wished to fight him. He accepted.
Five minutes later, the battle ensued. He slashed left and right with that monstrosity, until he finally pointed the weapon at me and pulled a lever upon the end. An explosion burst from the blade, launching bolts of fire towards me. I took cover and, finally, the explosions stopped. He rushed at me again, upon which pont he fired at my chest. It was pain of which I had only imagined Dragons inflicting. I stood up, unsteady, and flared my breath for one final attempt at an attack. I began to focus on my blood, and as it began to boil, I transformed into a black, scaly human. My transformation would not pass this, so I finally fired a cone of lightning at the man's blade, electrocuting him, and Felling him at last. I claimed his heart and his blade, as trophies of his defeat.
That next day I had grown to about 16 years of age. I search ever more for a mate with which to live...

((Gulp. This is both entertaining and cringe-inducing at the same time. Good work.))

RE: Royal Adventures!
((Thanks. Not sure if it will end up successful or a failure yet: only time will tell.
I am a fan of Dunsparce. Just saying. I also do the medal art around here. I take a while, but they are high quality.
