ow did you hear about Kiwike: my friend told me about it and it seemed really fun

Character Name: Hrodgeir

Spawn Location, Orraku Fields

Gender: male

Age: 25

General Background Information: Hrodgeir grew up in a rough household. His father had a drinking problem and routinely beat his child. His mother died shortly after birth from a fire that took many lives with it. It took half the entire village to extinguish it. And when it was over as many as 40 were taken by death. At the age of 10 Hrodgeir decided he could not live with his cruel father for any longer. he packed his bags, and left the village at night. Hrodgeir roamed through the wilderness, cold and hungry and when he was on the verge of death, he was found by nordic hunters. They took him in as their own, teaching him the ways of their culture. They discovered that he was an avid archer and swordsman, defeating many of the villages men. when he had reached 18, Hrodgeir decided he wanted to travel and see all the different lands of the world. The nords were sad to see him go, but sent him off with many supplies. He then traveled the world, building make-shift shelters where ever he went. He met many folk, some of whom were happy to to roast him over a spit, but he forged on, looking for the place he could truely call home. When he found kiwike, he knew that this was the place. Although he didnt have anything left after his journey, he was happy he had found a place that he truely loved.
Physical Condition/Description (what do they look like, what do they wear, all physical elements of a character): Hrodgeir is a brown haired young adult, wearing full winter camo and a quiver on his back. he has a bandana on to keep strangers from knowing his true identity

What is your character's main objective? What do they wish to gain out of this experience of living?: His main objective is to find the barbarians who killed his village and take his revenge on every one of them. after that he wants to settle down in a snowy forest, maybe run a hunters lodge for travelers and hunters.

It is a well-written story, but it feels like its been used too much already, the entire "village gets plundered and he survived/ran, get revenge". Perhaps there is something else that could be added to the story.
