Neos Theos- The Prologue: Beginnings.
((Congratulations to Cerce, who has solved the first part. They will get harder.))
In the beginnings of the world, a tumultuous riot of shapes and figures clogged the very space we see as Kiwike. These indistinct shapes, known as the voids, constantly created chaos and disorder. However, in the chaos came something different. The void itself slowly began to tear apart from each other, creating a separation in chaos- this force was called order. As the rest of the chaos began to tear apart order once more, and created the first perfect being. This perfect being wasn't enough to hold apart the chaos, and thus, it split into two to create a force called opposites. The two forces worked together to split the chaos apart and create order. First, one being separated light from the chaos, while the other separated darkness.
Through this first split, they decided to call themselves for this general split. The one with all of the light chaos called himself "Light" (Original, right?)
and the other one called himself "Dusk" (No, not knights of dusk...yet. )
The letters formed more slowly than you were reading the page. WIP.

((Looks epic! Can't wait.))

Letters continued to pile up:
These two beings continued to seperate the forces of Light and dark into further categories. Through light came heat, fire, energy, and the sun. It embodied freedom and unrestricted domains.
Through Dusk, the forces of cold, water, calmness, and stone came. It embodied trapping the essence or an object in a solid form.
They shaped this world of Chaos, and created Kiwike. They combined their powers to create life. Light breathed energy while Dusk trapped it into a solid form. However, this process was never perfect.
Sometimes, the Dusk would drain the form away, and it would create skeletons.
When Light tried to reverse it, the skeletons gained dead flesh. Becoming zombies.
Then, the Light Tried to breath in too much energy, and created the first Creeper.
The first animals were deemed by these forces as "the first successful beings of life."
Soon afterwards, they perfected their craft. Humans. (You!)

RE: Neos Theos- The Prologue: Beginnings.
These humans were still imperfect, for the beings were still filled with natural chaos. The two beings of order could not come back together again to create perfect order for chaos would resume. The only thing they could hope for was a rebalance of human morality and integrity.
These human beings only suffered/experienced a small amount of extra power from Light or Dusk, but because of such a small life force, it changed people greatly. Personality was created.
Those with initial imbalances of Dusk became dark, sinister, and evil. In an attempt to balance them, Light put a little bit of its power into each of them. As a result, they became thieves, bandits, and looters, unable to control their thoughts properly, making brash mistakes, clever moves, and violent behavior.
Those with imbalances of Light became brash, warm, and energetic. To counteract this, the dusk created a counterelement to fuse with them. As a result, they became composed, strong men, who strived for dignity and honor.
These imbalancees caused much tension, creating the first war of Kiwike.
They split into their seperate groups;
One called themselves the Knights of Dusk,
While the other one called themselves the -----------------.

After hours of staring at the sheet, Matam mutters, "I think it's a double encryption...."

RE: Neos Theos- The Prologue: Beginnings.
Cerce sets the book down. "This is pagan blasphemy... The One created the world, not lightness and darkness! But still, I feel compeled to unravel the rest of this mystery." He picked it back up, and staired at the seemingly random assortment of letters and numbers. "I be not a man aquanted with math... this may take some doing... It would be so much simpler if it was simply a word-scramble-find like the first pages..."

"Wait a second..." Matam observed the two jumbles of letters. "The two pieces are the whole code....but I think the second one is easier.... why don't we just look at the letters and patterns? That's usually how word riddles works..."
Matam sat down with only a few pieces of paper and ink sacs left. His candles were running out too. "I guess I should restock first."
Getting up to get some fresh air, Matam descended into the cave to get some coal (Irony! )

RE: Neos Theos- The Prologue: Beginnings.
"Hmmm..." thought Cerce. "Six words... F is either A or I... Or maybe letters need to be deleted...? There is enough space for 17 letters, and there are 19 letters given... The numbering system allows for 10 letters... diel ns oel f leli elght... It's a title, or rank, or something... What titles and ranks have 17 letters and consist of the 19 letters given... Soldier? No, that requires an R... Knight? No, that needs a K..." Cerce rubs his temple with two fingers, and took a swig of water from a pale he carried with him. "I guess I should start with what I know... I know that they are of the Light, so that takes out those letters... That leaves de ns el lel el... Denesens? No... _Of_Light... that takes off 9 letters, leaving 8 left for the first word... It also means that two more of the letters won't be used..." He sighs, and wished Matam was back from his trip. Cerce always enjoyed his insight. "Maybe I'm over thinking this? Knights is 7 words... Paladins?" With a gleefull tone to his voice, he picked the book back up and shouted, "Paladins of Light!"

RE: Neos Theos- The Prologue: Beginnings.
The prince comes to me with a book in his hand and fear in his eyes.
"They're back," he whispers in a quivering voice.
I don't even have to look at the book to know what it says. I sigh. How could this happen again? The memories of those chaotic years are the substance of every thief's nightmares. So many died the first time now there was going to be a second. I struggled to hold back the tears and maintain my stony mask.
"So are we," I replied.

(Nicely Done!!(I think you figured it out in a different way XD)
Letters began to shine more brilliantly as the text began to unravel itself once more: "The paladins of light" seemed to emit more light in comparison to the other pieces of text.
((Go to the contents menu! Chapter 2 should in progress now.))
