A Long visit.
((To explain my 1 1/2 week absence.))
He fell to the dirt again cursing. Sahure had been beaten only a few times in his youth during honorable arena matches, but lately his age seemed to be slowing him down. Mephisto helped him up laughing. "Care to go another round?"
"Not today you son a bitch." His age also had made him less friendly. As Mephisto left for Luca, Sahure picked up the stick sword and left the coliseum, heading for his mailbox. Along the way, Yonny greeted him cheerfully but Sahure only grunted in reply. "Oh great. Lots of mail today. Probably just some junk my citizens have sent me..." shifting through the saplings, Sahure spied a corner of parchment.
To 1st Commander Sahure Aenon of the Royal Ionian Navy,
Hello Sahure, you might not remember me, but I used to be the young boy David that lived next to your uncle. I've been studying as a blacksmith, but my father is a mage. The reason I write is because he thinks he has developed a potion that gives eternal life, but when we tested it on my chicken, it only made it younger. My father swears he mixed it right, and is adamant that it will work on a human. The fools we live with now are scared of his magic, and my father asked me to name the most fearless man I knew and write to them. I suppose he will enchant this or something to get it to you. Please come! We live at <ADDRESS CENSORED TO PROTECT THE INNOCENT>. I'm sure my father has it wrong, and the potion will only turn you younger, but hey, that would still be good right?
With High Regards,
David of Old Eon
No sooner had Sahure read the letter than the city gates had shut behind him.
((citizens of Eon have till I get back to complete renevations or decide to have their home built for them))
