Previous RP experiences: None!! At least not in Minecraft. Outside of Minecraft though, well... the list goes on and on.
Have you played on any other servers? Why did you leave?: Not really!! I was on a rather large private server for school, bout 100 of us. It eventually got shut down due to inactivity. 5 friends and I were on till the last day
What feature of Kiwike are you most interested in?: The RPing!! I've always been attracted to the immersive nature of Minecraft and how it can be applied to RPing. Basically been waiting for one that took my fancy. I also do a Melbourne-based steampunk LARP three times a year. Yeah, perfect fit right?

Character Name: Taz Matora

General Background Information:

Taz "Redback" Matora was the man to goto if you wanted something cheap and quickly - particularly something you didn't want people knowing you wanted. His web of shady contacts, the Redback Cartel, reached from weapons distributions from "Wrench" Peterson in Distillery to a stable supply of less-than-legal pharmaceuticals from the infamous "Fingers" Cust in Riverston. Taz had many aliases in almost every city in his nation of glorious Fumare, but whatever his real name was it sure wasn't Taz. The very few people he trusted knew only that his parents were very wealthy, both Professors at Wellesley and Royle College of Scientific Advancement, an art they taught Redback with ruthless tenacity. He hated them with a passion, and by extension everyone else with the same pomp and arrogance. At 18, he graduated from the College of Scientific Advancement with first class honours and coldly told his family of his intent to travel to the Colonies and beyond, and learn what he could of the native remedies they employ; after 2 months his parents finally discovered their emptied bank vault and it dawned on them why he had never contacted them. He never did again.

After several years of strengthening his web of contacts and dodging the authorities of Fumare, the Royle Internal Security Force finally caught up with him just before the plans to incite a social revolution over the benevolent technocracy and bring about the rebellious creation of a democratic rule were enacted; plans that Taz helped foster. In the ensuing chaos, Taz was able to stow away on a Illysian merchant airship. Earning the trust of the crew after being discovered, he worked about the ship for two weeks to pay his way, before a cataclysmic Ether Blizzard crawled over the ship while he was aboard, burning out the Oscillation Drives of the ship's steam engines and crashing it into an oblivion of a turbulent energy storm. Of the darkness that followed, he remembered nothing. Waking on a beach, Taz found himself an Inn and learnt that he was somehow in the land of "Kiwike", seemingly another world he had no knowledge of. Cursing the tear in reality that was an Ether Blizzard, he began to try and rebuild his life in this new land.


Physical Condition/Description (what do they look like, what do they wear, all physical elements of a character): Taz's red vest is indicative of his position in the Redback Cartel. The rest of his clothes are an amalgamation of his dapper origins, his time as an underworld figurehead and his final short journey as a airship stowaway.

What is your character's main objective? What do they wish to gain out of this experience of living?: Taz loves to be incredibly looked after, which fits his skills as being the "man-to-go-to" and his generally agreeable manner in helping others achieve their goals. Particularly those looking for wealth, power or adventure. That said, the recent upheaval of his entire life is taxing, and while this new start is heralded with optimism, there is unease at gripping a new major cause to be pulled along with. It all depends on the person and their price.
