So the update just kick in over here in Dumbfuckastan.

It's not horrible, but there are some HUGE problems.

1: You can't hide videos in your update feed, even after you have watched them. So you have to keep scrolling down and keep clicking "Load More" if you, like me, are subscribed to a million things. Truly annoying.

2: Instead of having a box for each channel with their videos in the box, you get a box for each video. This means if you are subscribed to machinima because one or two series they do are worth watching, you're entire thread is going to be the other 99% of their shitty videos. This combined with problem 1 made me have to unsubscribe form about 3 or 4 channels so I could actually watch the videos I wanted.

My main hang-up is: why? Why bother, youtube? Did anyone want this? Was anyone asking for this?
I guess google thinks it has to compete with facebook in every respect, including making changes/updates nobody likes or wanted.

I recommend using the feedback button. I asked them to add an option to only view uploads, and like a few days later that option was in there. I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one asking for it though. It's worth a try.

I unsubscribed from machinima a while ago. A lot of their videos are shite anyway.
