Precisely. These are benefits we give to those kind enough to donate. You'll still get more benefits than those who donated less; those benefits are simply subject to change at our discretion, as they have always been.

Just a reason future donations from me and other players is pretty unlikely. I can understand removing /home entirely for the purpose of RP but raising the price to arbitrarily exclude a few past donors doesn't make much sense.

First of all, the privileges may still change.
Second, as everyone already said, donating is not the same as paying for something. A donation is the act of giving or making a contribution. I donated because I like the server and want to support it. You should be happy that you got anything at all.

And please don't take it as we're angry with those who are upset. We understand that maybe you donated for these perks rather than just being nice and donating towards the server, and you're likely going to feel connected to those very perks.

As I said earlier, we've noticed and are discussing the matter. There's no way we would want to halt any further donations from our veteran players.

I would prefer donations to having ads all over the site and in-game

RE: /home and broken promises
That's true leech.

To tell you the truth, them removing /home does not bother me. Yes, some did donate for the benefits, but as Cerce said, it was an overpowered part of the game. Most if not only those that donate up to $30+ really care for the server, and should get it's benefits. But if you think about it, I would much rather have a limited amount of people using /home, than to have so many that its extrememly common to be chasing someone and them to just pop away.

And like they said, it's all subject to change. Smiley

Agreed. No body ever said that you would have /home forever and it was the most OP thing in the server, Yes I am a donor and I would be loosing this also but its not always about the a few players but ablout the server in general

RE: /home and broken promises
Very few people are actually 'nice'. Just about everyone here has had their fair share of arguments and fights, and when it comes to donating additional money to a game you already paid for very few people do so without benefits. I hope donor benefits are still atleast worth while, or if not, I hope yall have a nice bank account for the server to keep it afloat. Just look at gold donors. Those are people who donated to donate, I've seen about 2 or 3. Ever.
