I suggest a message is added when ever somebody gets within a certain radius if a town. The message should be able to be edited by the mayor. The int problem I can think of is that the towns must have official borders recognized by the server itself. Basically, this could solve my Population topic, and could help those blown off course from a destination.

Agree! The guy who makes the town system stuff actually has this in his to-do list. Not anything I will start working on though.

There's a mod called Towny for hey0 that sounds like it can do just this exact thing. Plus a bunch of other things. They make the source available, so maybe it could assist in making these things easier for our developers.

We actually are using the Towny mod right now on the normal server. We may change over to the Realms mod though.

The guy who makes it is Shade as you can tell from the link in stern's post.
