The Long Awaited Kiwike: Revamped

Announced in early December, Kiwike: Revamped has been the server most awaited for. Sporting several custom plugins, the Kiwike server has undoubtedly an amazing amount of potential.

We welcome you, the players, to join us today on the server's debut, where these never before seen plugins will come to light. The moderating team will be present to help you on your endeavors, and will hopefully be able to get their own story started.

The bonds that can easily last a lifetime are going to be forged starting today, and we all want to be apart of it. Before we move forward, however, let's take a look at the amazing adventures we had in the past.

It started with Kiwike 1.0, a server started by yottabyte for himself and some friends. They decided to go public and the map came to be something many of us knew and loved. Towns were created and people were recruited. At this time, everything server-related was run by hMod, instead of the much more useful Bukkit. During the transition, we found ourselves on what some like to call Kiwike '1.5.' On this map, more new comers arrived, and the majority of them stayed. The community at this time was rather small, but it would soon grow with the up and coming Kiwike 2.0 project. Come April, the new map and way of running things was ready, and although we promised RP, we never really came through, which was unfortunate as many were looking forward to it. Today, we bring back that promise but this time, we mean to fulfill what we say. Come December, Revamped was already in the works but wasn't in the public eye until the official announcement was made. At this point, all were extremely excited for this new chance. Time went on, and a Beta of the final product was released. During this time the last couple of plugins were being finalized and coded by yottabyte. At the end of this long period lies the day we had all been waiting for, and that day, is today.

The entire team of staff has been extremely hard at work ever since the idea was ever seriously taken into consideration, and we're going to be showing off all of that effort with the release of the brand new Kiwike: Revamped server. We hope to attract a completely new crowd of people whilst keeping those who have been with us for so long happy.

Thank you for all of the support and help given over these past few months, as it really has made Kiwike: Revamped all the better and more suited for your needs. And with that, let brilliantness known as 'Revamped' be released.
