I'm not TheGreatNut, but this kinda irks me.

TheGreatNut got banned by geckosquid for crop griefing. Crop griefing. That thing that was declared legal by Android. Now, either I'm not understanding something or our moderation team needs to pay more attention to the updates in rules.

TheGreatNut is a friend of mine and I don't want to see him banned for 3 days (I think) for something that is completely allowed.

Please correct me if I am misunderstanding something.

There's a difference between stealing crops (perfectly allowed, just try to replant at least a little), and simply breaking them for them to despawn without attempting to replant at all.

Gecko witnessed this firsthand and saw this as intentional, unnecessary damage (ie; actual grief).

The moderators decided that since the crops were destroyed with purely malicious intentions (because he didn't take the wheat he broke, he just left it there on the ground) that it is grief. So, why don't you try to, in the future, refrain from taking stabs at the mods when you have no idea what you are talking about.

Sorry the title of the ban was misleading, seeing as how we did declare earlier that so called 'crop grief' was legal. I'd say this is just general grief. In the ban descriptions we should be adding something to give the banned an idea of exactly what happened.

Also, if you're still doubtful, Gecko has a screenshot of the wheat simply waiting to despawn.

But who said and when that crop greifing with malicios intentions is illeagal. I wasn't aware of it and last I heard crop griefing, to any degree, was leagal. I feel like I should have at least bene warned before being banned for a rule that to my knowledge did not exist (to any extent).

And no matter how manny crops i greifed it was still a crop grief.

Yes, but the only reason crop "grief" is allowed is because it falls under the category of "stealing", ie. taking other's possession for your own use. What you did does not benefit the victim or yourself, hence it is rather non-rp like. It is similar to someone emptying a chest and letting the items despawn.

It does fit rp since I am at war with leech and the rest of Bowser's nation, and they have a surplus of bread and other crops, it makes since for me to want to disrupt their supplies via destroying said crops.

Well regardless my character is still angry with Bowser and his freinds and wants to take it out on them and their neighbors, and regardles of nations my character has a personal vandeta with them and the people around which they live, and will do anything to cause them misfortune.
