What is Tekkit?

It's the Technic Pack but for servers. It has its own launcher and everything, too.

Sorry if the announcement was too brief, I was told that breif was good, but perhaps it was to breif for some.

But, to put it as simple words, its a technology and industrial based mod pack with its own launcher and everything. Just search 'tekkit' in google and the official page should be the first result.

So I got it and messed around with it for a while, I can see how some of the things would be highly useful for the server, some things rather OP of course, but I like alot of the other weapons you can make. Guns seem kinda OP just because you just have to hit them, nothing like bows. Also, it seems like for this to really be used to its full extent we'd need a new map:/ I can see how this is perfect for say age 4, (some of the things in it) but I really feel like it should have been planned better. None of those cool ores added into it, no oil, no new trees (rubber?) or what ever. Plus, the way everything is built, adapting to a lot of these type of things would be tough.

So yeah. I think it should have been planned better. But I still look forward to this, if it is being implemented?

Indeed, it's an entirely separate server, not relevant to Revamped at all.
