We knew the repercussions. This was along with other things us leaving the server because although maybe kiwike was just perfect for you, we all certainly got tired of people rambling, the lack of any actual help from the admins or bans, and poor/glitchy plugins. We aren't clawing at the door asking to be let in, we came in and asked if we might be able to come back and help out due to various topics saying the server was going to change. It is evident we aren't wanted back. I still fail to see what you are trying to argue here.

EDIT: I know chipmonk sure made it sound like "I SHOULD BE UNBANNED" but that wasn't the message we were trying to send. He was asking if he COULD be unbanned.

I am sorry for all of this everyone... If you've talked to me, you know I have an exremely long fuse. But for some reason this is really irrking me. I don't particularly even like midlands (no offense bvc, its not you, it was nut), and yet the fact that they ask for an appeal is ridiculous in my mind.

EDIT: I'm sorry what? You wanted to leave the server, so what better way than to greif someplace and waste everyone's time? You pretty much are saying that you don't like kiwike, but you want to come back and help... hmmmm... while I can understand this, and even slightly appreciate the gesture, I feel its alittle late.

Yes well our fuse was shorter than yours. We had been on kiwike for several months but it got to us finally and then that happened. It isn't quite as ridiculous as you might think for chipmonk that is.

He didn't report a griefing and posted a single spam post on the forums. Compared to some other peoples records that is a relatively small amount. Not that im saying it isn't ban worthy, but taking up the time it has been at least a couple of months.

Alright goodnight. And seth I think it should be entirely open to discussion still. That way people can get their opinions in, although it appears gecko may have already made up his mind.

Um... yea, that's over-exaggerating. I personally think (Who knows, I may be wrong) that even if I did identify with any of those things that you stated above, I would feel sad, but not to the point of wanting to take my own life, or even harm myself in any way, but everyone isn't me. I am not self conscious at all, and tend to think through things very logically, what you stated above may be very true for someone who is extremely emotionally based. In addition, Nut may be extremely racist, but he has the self control not to make it obvious until he knows the person he is talking to well enough (a little too obvious). I haven't personally seen any extremely racist comments on the forum, like Chipmonk's, that haven't been from people who are expecting to be banned shortly there after. I change my opinion, and think that his ban is well deserved.

I feel like this is a lost cause at this point, but I guess I shall continue in chipmonks defense and say that although a ban definitely was deserved, was a infinite ban really deserved? Considering how people have done worse and gotten one day bans? Chipmonk was banned for "midland monarchy grief". He was not banned for what he actually did which was at worst support it and make a racist comment on the forum. And even then racism implies putting a race lower than oneself, it is a belief. Just repeating the N word isn't really racism as much as a spam post.

Chipmonk did some stupid stuff, but it was stupid stuff. Seeing as how other than this he hasn't been anything but good I still say that a infa ban is a bit harsh. Other than this one incident he hasn't been "immature".

And also bvc even if you feel the infinite ban WAS deserved, the thing is if you can trust him to come back. If not well then thats that I guess.

Exactly. If he had taken a more mature approach to dealing with the ban originally, the answer might have been different.

I understand a fourm ban because I actually did something wrong on the fourms. But how do my actions on the fourm correlate to the actual game. I though the fourms and Minecraft were seperate aside from the white listing(Cause of ya know the the Roleplaying). Please tell me how a fourm related ban would transfer over to my minecraft account.
