Robert, if the way the votes are going on Droids post, Nothing will be protected, and may be griefed, so unless Minecart tracks are an exception to rule (11 or 12, I forget which one), Then they would be pointless.

Cell, minecarts could be used as lava boats as of 1.5. I think that's what he was talking about.
