Moderation in moderation?

In my opinion this is some of what moderators need to stop doing. Whether they like the person or not they shouldn't handle this the way it was handled. New players do read the threads accasionaly, and this isnt a very nice sight. Its like the old saying, if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say it at all.

As to the Mute option in OOC, that is a terribly bad idea. Why you ask? Think about it, you may mute some one for one thing, forgetting about it and then seeing a whole conversation going on without realizing that he was the person you muted that was effecting the conversation greatly. Especially if you play a lot, you might tend to mute a bunch of people over time and forget who you muted, making chat in OOC seem obscured, and random. Also, if it ever were added (Since I know this will always come up and I probably wont be listened to.) mods shouldn't be allowed to mute people just because they need to see everything, whos doing what, ext.
