Background: Cell, as he is known among the people. Is Human, and was once a normal boy.
Cell has no memory of the past few years of his life. He couldn't tell you the last thing that happened yesterday, or the first thing that happened this morning. He has forgotten his own name, his Age, his family. Its all gone from him.
The only thing he can remember, is what his life used to be.
He remembers from when he was a little boy of the age of 5, up to the age of 18. He lived a normal life, along with his family. He was an only child, but wasn't spoiled. His parents made sure he stayed in shape to be able to protect himself from any Creatures of the night, or whatever was to come. He does remember that some days his parents would be quite... on edge. And mutter things like "They are not true, they are liars.".
His life stayed like this up to the age of 18. When he was outside working on getting lumber for his families fire place, when he heard a scream inside. He ran in to find a flash of light illuminating the room from the front window, and his parents huddled in the corner. The light grew to blind him, and then he heard his parents say "They where right."
He awoke to find himself tattered, clothes burnt off of him, and bodies everywhere. His town to shreds. Burns, that turned to scars on his face and body. And his fathers robe, fully in-tact, as if the flame did not touch it.
To this day, he never takes off his Father's robe, and he remembers nothing since the incident.
He wanders searching for an answer to his childhood, an answer to what happened to his family, and his town.
