I think that there is something wrong with the following chain of logic

Bans should be exclusively for increasing the quality of the server. Both Little and Asdf are good, active and involved server members, neither of them hack, both of them have donated. These are the kinds of people we should be trying to keep on the server. Players shouldn't be using bans as a means of getting revenge on people they dislike and mods should actively discourage revenge bans. Unless someone is causing serious harm to the server I don't think banning them makes much sense... Rules are useful but the ultimate decision should be up to the moderators who should make decisions based on what is better for the server. If moderating was just about reading the rules Yotta could do that on his own and people could just send him screenshots of players they want banned. Having people (not that yotta isn't a person) as moderators means that decisions can be made based on the individuals ability to judge what is better for the server.
Anyways, I feel like I've posted my thoughts on moderating many times before. I'm not a mod so I really am just giving my opinions here but I hope they are reasonable. Moderation must be moderate.
