I don't buy games because every single game company out there are money whoring pigs. They could be selling it for a lot less and still make a profit, at some times even more since more people would be buying them. And if they'd be doing it over digital distribution they wouldn't even have any money to lose since there is no factor of material worth.

I have officially lost all respect for you. First of all, the amount of time and effort put into making the graphics and animations that people demand today is astounding. It takes a lot of money. Second of all, a business is a business. They will make profit where they can. It helps put money into future products, and adds to their workforce. Third of all, material worth is only a small factor. That's like saying that online schooling shouldn't charge money because they're not sending you a disc.
