Nether Revamped

So we are all aware of the problems of the 2.0 nether. I understand that a vote was taken when the nether was released as to whether it would be anarchy or claimable, but too many problems have arisen due to such.

I suggest that for Kiwike Revamped that the nether portals or the plot surrounding it at very least be made claimable. Much like the outpost system, this would render griefing and unwanted entrance into one's town or settlement far less damaging. This would also make nether forts far more plausible than before. If necessary, it could be possible to buy more neighbouring plots to expand your protection, but obviously a limited number would be available.

I do not know how this would work for the new territories plugin we (I mean the server as a whole - I am personally doing nothing) will be incorporating into Revamped, but I am sure it would be possible.

I think we're all particularly sick of having the most convenient method of travel on the server being completely unprotected. Between that, nether grief (AKA 'land mines'), and camping nether portals, I think a new vote may be necessary for Kiwike Revamped to establish what the people want.
