Locks and lockpicks

Even in medieval times we were and still are capable of making lock picks that even professionals can spend hours trying to break, it is far from being realistic and fairly stupid in my opinion.

That is not treu.
Lockpicking was easy untill as recent 1900 when they used more advanced ways like tumbler lock.

Back then it was as easy as inserting wax into sayed lock harden it pull it out. and make a copy of the key.

The Chinese used complex puzzle locks which essentially are the equivalent to a modern combination lock.

I cannot seem to find those complex puzzle locks on the interwebs
Only wooden 2 pinned locks, and later during the medieval period the tradiontal ways to hide a lock in placed to make it harder for a thief. But as-far as my brains go's it was easy up untill the 1900's
