Awesome stuff that should have have shipped with Skyrim.

In the words of TotalBiscuit: "This is why we can't have nice things.".
This is one of the many reasons developers for PC are so rare nowadays, because PC gamers are bitches. Bethesda made a perfectly awesome game. Half of these features are probably not even working! It takes time to develop these kinds of things.
Balancing, bug fixing, and so forth. And Skyrim wasn't even complete on release. They can't delay it forever!
So instead of whining about them not including them on release, spurr them on to include them in patches or expansion packs instead.
They actually took 1 week off of their actual jobs just to have a little fun, and perhaps develop new features for their games that they didn't think of or didn't have time to develop before.
