((Crazy had Shark mention within the story that they should "choose who gets which part of the kingdom" and that fact that if they killed the king "[they] would be heroes" to display the fact that there may have possibly been a majority of slaves to overrule the normal citizens or perhaps nobody at all liked the king. The only contradiction I see is that Shark was going to tell all of the citizens that "[Crazy] was the only one who escaped and murdered the king so that they would come and get [him]," meaning those people cared for their king. It shouldn't be overlooked, however, that Shark seems to be in some position of power if he's telling people who killed the king and is having them believe him.
