Seems like a solid story.
The only small thing i would like you to change is the fact that he single handedly defeated an entire rebel tribe after they had killed the village in under 10 minutes. And seeing you are stating the village have capable brave man it makes it only less that a boy the age of 20 whipes out a tribe like that.

I'm fine with you chasing a small force off but this goes a little over the top
