This is why I am peaceful for now. Without town protection and such it is very pointless besides getting the town set up.

I'm with Tristo on this.
Usually people band together for added protection and benefits, such as luxury and social companionship.
What settlements we have are clearly providing none of this, so it's actually safer ATM to live by yourself.
That is sad, and probably part of the reason mods are coming down so hard on these incidents, they want to set a very clear precedent early on for what is and is not allowable on the new server.

Let's get 2 things straight here
1. there are no towns. maybe groups of people living together but no towns
2. THERE ARE NO NATIONS or leaders of nations BECAUSE THERE ARE NONE

Once my guild gets started we intend to impose some order upon the criminal world of kiwike. Out of guild raiders and thievery shall be discouraged by a variety of mechanisms. Thieves shall be expected to follow a strict code indicating what is and is not acceptable. Thieves who elect not to follow the rules or attempt to continue their endeavors without joining the guild shall be subject to punishment. Hopefully that shall bring some of this chaos back to order.
