Kiwiship Booster Engine
Kiwiship Booster Engines very expensive to run. If you run them at one coal for every four blocks, going cross country in a Kiwiship could be very expensive. We calculated that to get to the Inn, in one hour and seventeen minutes, you would need 27.8 or 28 stacks of coal to get there in that time. Otherwise going to the Inn would take around 10 hours. This is on a ship that goes one block(four with booster engines) every 4 seconds. Instead, we could make Kiwiships run more cost effective. Not by lowering the amount of coal used to travel large distances, but instead, using flight stages. We could make three flight stages, climb, cruise and descent(just like aircraft). In the real world aircraft have a higher fuel consumption rate during climb. During Cruise, aircraft have a medium to low fuel consumption rate, and during descent, fuel consumption is very low(little to none). If we could make it so you use less coal during cruise and descent then getting to the Inn(or a random destination where ever you might be traveling) will be less expensive. Maybe during climb, one coal will get you four blocks. During cruise, one coal will get you eight to twelve blocks, and during descent, one block of coal might get you sixteen blocks. Coal will get you farther, but reduce lag as well, because what we will do is instead of just moving twelve blocks, the coal would burn continuously. So after twelve blocks, one coal will burn out and go away. The lag we would have with the Kiwiships now would be the same, though coal will get you farther, and ships can go faster at a less cost effective rate.
