You are certainly correct in many places, Cell. My point of view comes from a character who has 'ascended' from 'mortal conflict', and thus is rather detached from the whole situation.

I was responding more to the complaints on griefing and metagaming than the raids, which I thought had died down significantly. If I am wrong, I apologize for my misreading of the situation. I was under the impression that there were occasional raids every now and then now rather than constant raids as there were before we cracked down on them. I have absolutely no problem, then, with complaints regarding the actual frequency of said raids. That is definitely something to be dealt with. What I do not agree with is the grasping for ways to ban them. If there was a simple complaint on the frequency of raiding, then the answer is simple: The staff tells them to slow down or they get banned. Easy as that. It doesn't take 9 pages of arguing to do that. However, it did, and that is what I am addressing.

Second, those complaints stand tall. I believe that the frequency of their bans is enough to have the perma'd. The same happened to Gira, did it not? And he wasn't banned anymore than Lewis was. I do agree that some of the reasons people are posting here are ridiculous, but some should be taken into account.
