Ban Appeal- StaffOfHappiness (Nether Build)

Hello! This is Chase Yama (aka. StaffOfHappiness)
Im not sure if I can get unbanned sooner, and if not, thats ok because it is only a temp. But I dont know how making a small hut in the nether to survive counts as greif. The only reason I built it was because the server was so laggy that I automatically block glitched on top of the nether, and was trapped due to the fact that everything around me was a field of bedrock; and felt that I would have to wait for a while for administrators to save me. If this happens to be TOTALLY AGAINST the rules, can you at least explain clearly how building a house in the nether counts as greif? Thanks!
