RE: Android24557 Grieding- Continued (2)
*Disclaimer* I have no clue whatsoever as to any accusations reguarding the flying mod. I wasn't there, and for all intents and purposes, I haven't installed anything more advanced than Zan's Minimap, and even that I skrewed up royally.
I have a few questions for you, Tux. May I call you Tux? Anyways... Tux, were you aware of an existing war between the combined forces of the Cerantian Empire and the Helvanthan Republic versus the Great Vikings of Eyvind, which was declared aprox. midday on Apr. 10th, 2011? Are you also aware that in no point in the post reguarding wartime in 2.0 was it outlawing war in weekdays?
Said post:
Every weekend it's wartime on Kiwike.
During war time, the majority of town commands in the game are frozen so as to not create unwanted effects.
When the war starts, all nations who aren't neutral, have their towns and its land converted into a warzone. Each townblock in the warzone is given health points (HP). The town homeblock has more HP, but when it's lost, the entire town loses.
Any townblock in the warzone is considered fairgame for anyone else at war.
When an enemy player enters a warzone, the HP of the townblock drops, forcing the residents of that town to protect that area. Whoever kills the other will lose a certain amount of gold for the dead player. If the dead player no longer has any more gold in his account, it's taken from the towns coffers. When the town is bankrupted, the town is removed.
If a townblock is lost, the attacker's town get +1 bonus town block, while the loser get -1.
The last nation, or league of allied nations remaining, will get half of all the spoils of war. The spoils of war contains all the money left in bank accounts when they were deleted, as well as any death during war not directly caused by another player.
This prompts the fact that weekends are the only days where nations may be taken over. It speaks nothing of raids, which could happen at anytime.
Are you aware that you made this post: 'Please not that I did not grief you, I just built a house there. I did nothing to incite violence against your civilization. Am I to be grouped with others whose actions are not of my own consent?;
In roleplay terms, which you concided to when you joined a roleplaying server, yes, you are. In virtually every war in the history of the world, civilians of nations are also considered enemies. Think WWII. In the nuclear attacks against Japan, did not innocent civilians die to prevent even more death, and better the outcome of history? If you don't want to be grouped with others, you should not join their nation.
Ladies and gentlement of this server, I rest my case. Tux's argument his hereby invalid.
