The slabs weren't a problem before 1.3. As usual, every update messes things up.

The mod which the Kiwiship is based on (movecraft) has stopped updating, last update was for 1.2.5 (?). Yotta has been patching it up with every update, and it is getting rather difficult fixing it up, unless he finds the miraculous code that fixes all.
