RE: Suggestion #9 - Lore Expert: Please vote or input opinion.
The fact that anybody is involved in the staff chat, as far as I am concerned, means nothing if no action is taken in the actual line of their job. This is identical to the case with the moderators - if you have not been following through with what your job is supposed to be, regardless of the time you spend socializing with other staff members, you should not remain in that position.
Sure, Naamandre has been here a long time - but the facts remain that for the vast majority of that time he hasn't contributed anything sufficient of keeping this position. Like any job; if a professor knew how to teach, was hired for that ability, and never actually taught - he wouldn't be able to keep his job.
No substantial suggestions, especially during this period of reassessing the RP or function of the server, have been given by Naamandre. How can one be entrusted to follow through, or even be given the confidence, to work and decide such crucial factors in the future of the server when they do not demonstrate these abilities farther than owning a title?
I can guarantee that for the benefit of any new RP server it would not be in anybody's interest to leave Naamandre in charge of the lore. Numerous others have shown far more ability, talent, and commitment and have shown greater responsibility for the community through such.
