Well yotta, I'm going to use an example from Revamped to play the devil's advocate on your statement. You said that killing someone would make them want to pull out their good gear, and although that happens occassionally (probably around 75% of the time), there will always be people with maxed out weapons and armor who refuse to pull it out for fear of losing it. Instead they coughsitinacavealldayandgetmorewealththeyneverusecough.
